Doha Girls Center Organizes Sports Championship to Promote Fitness and Positive Competition

Doha – The Doha Girls Center, under the supervision of the Ministry of Sports and Youth, successfully organized an engaging sports championship for girls, bringing together several girls’ youth centers affiliated with the Ministry. The event witnessed wide participation from young female members across the centers.

Prior to the championship, participants took part in a specialized swimming race training program led by professional female coaches, designed to enhance their physical fitness and prepare them for competition in a safe and enjoyable aquatic environment.

The championship aimed to support the Ministry’s vision of implementing programs that attract youth and foster cooperation among sports and youth institutions. It also sought to encourage girls to practice sports, maintain physical fitness, and promote fair play and positive competition, while developing and showcasing their talents within the community.

At the conclusion of the event, winners were honored with valuable prizes: the first-place winner received QAR 5,000, the second-place winner received QAR 3,000, and the third-place winner received QAR 2,000.

The Doha Girls Center expressed pride in the success of the championship, emphasizing its commitment to empowering girls through sports and creating opportunities that promote health, teamwork, and personal growth.
