🌱 Towards a More Beautiful Environment – Together for a Sustainable Qatar

Doha Girls Center, in collaboration with Al Sadd Club’s Youth Committee, is organizing “Towards a More Beautiful Environment – Together for a Sustainable Qatar” in celebration of Global Sustainability Week. The program features creative and practical workshops, environmental challenges, community initiatives, and field visits aimed at raising environmental awareness, encouraging eco-friendly practices, and promoting recycling and responsible consumption to build a more environmentally conscious and responsible community.

📚 About the Event:

A week-long program featuring a variety of workshops, challenges, and field visits designed to promote environmental awareness and encourage community participation in environmental protection through sustainable practices that help conserve natural resources and reduce waste.

🎯 Event Objectives:

• Conduct three workshops focused on sustainability.

• Collect 100 kg of recyclable materials.

• Raise awareness of environmental sustainability and the importance of conserving natural resources.

• Encourage community participation in environmental initiatives.

🧩 Event Themes and Activities:

🌿 First: Creative and Practical Workshops

• 🌱 “Grow Sustainably” Workshop: Explore sustainable gardening practices and their importance in protecting the environment.

• 🎨 “Art from Nature” Workshop: Combine art and nature by creatively repurposing materials in sustainable ways.

🌊 Second: Environmental Activities and Field Initiatives

• ♻️ “Our Beach, Our Responsibility” Initiative: Clean the beach and collect recyclable materials while promoting community responsibility for protecting the environment.

• 🏭 Visit to Al Hayat Environmental and Engineering Factory: Learn about plastic waste recycling processes and their role in reducing environmental pollution.

🤝 Third: Activities in Collaboration with Al Sadd Club’s Youth Committee

The third and fourth days of the program, along with the closing ceremony, will be organized in collaboration with Al Sadd Club’s Youth Committee. Activities will be coordinated based on the proposals and initiatives presented by the committee, in line with the event’s objectives and final plan.
