Doha Girls Center organized the “Speak with Confidence” event, targeting girls aged 10–14 years. The program began with participants gathering at the center before departing on a field visit to Qatar Television, with the aim of providing an interactive media experience in a professional environment. The event sought to develop participants’ communication skills, self-confidence, and public speaking abilities, reflecting the center’s commitment to empowering girls and enhancing their media competencies.
The event included an introductory tour of Qatar Television’s facilities, where participants learned about the television production process and the nature of media work. They also took part in the “Speak with Confidence” workshop, which focused on developing presentation, public speaking, and effective communication skills, while helping participants express their ideas confidently in front of both audiences and cameras.
The event concluded with a practical in-studio experience, allowing participants to stand in front of the camera and apply the skills they had acquired in a professional broadcasting environment. This hands-on experience enhanced their self-confidence, strengthened their communication and interaction skills, and provided them with valuable real-world exposure to the media industry.
