💜 I Can – Empowering Girls with Disabilities

🌸 Because ability is not defined by disability, and every girl has a talent that deserves to shine!

Doha Girls Center, in collaboration with the Qatar Society for the Rehabilitation of Special Needs, is organizing the event “I Can – Empowering Girls with Disabilities”, as an interactive community initiative targeting girls with disabilities.

The event aims to promote social inclusion, strengthen self-confidence, and highlight the abilities and talents of participants through a range of shared artistic and interactive activities that provide opportunities for participation, self-expression, and positive engagement with members of the community.

📚 About the Event:

An interactive event dedicated to girls with disabilities, designed to provide a supportive and encouraging environment that promotes community participation, helps participants discover and develop their abilities and talents, and strengthens their self-confidence. Through shared activities, the event seeks to build bridges of communication and cooperation while fostering a culture of social inclusion.

🎯 Event Objectives:

💜 Provide 10 girls with disabilities with the opportunity to participate in the event.
🤝 Implement at least one community activity that promotes social inclusion and interaction.
🌟 Strengthen self-confidence and encourage girls to express their abilities and talents.
🎨 Discover talents and creativity while developing personal and artistic skills.
🫶 Develop communication, teamwork, and positive participation skills.

🧩 Event Themes and Activities:

🌸 First: Self-Confidence and Empowerment

Interactive activities designed to highlight the girls’ abilities and talents and encourage them to express themselves with confidence.

🤝 Second: Social Inclusion and Participation

Organizing shared activities that promote interaction and cooperation between girls with disabilities and members of the community, supporting equal participation and inclusion.

🎨 Third: Discovering Abilities and Creativity

Artistic and creative activities that allow participants to discover their talents and develop their skills through hands-on experiences and participation.

✨ Fourth: Communication and Teamwork

Interactive sessions that encourage cooperation, positive communication, and the exchange of experiences among participants.
