Doha Girls Center, in celebration of International Youth Day, organized the “Youth Initiatives Challenge”, with the participation of several youth centers. The event aimed to promote innovation and positive competition while developing young participants’ skills in designing innovative community initiatives, with a focus on digital awareness initiatives and creating sustainable social impact.

The event brought together teams representing participating youth centers, with each center represented by a team of 3–5 participants aged 18–21. The teams took part in a series of challenges and practical activities focused on developing ideas and transforming them into feasible youth initiatives that serve the community and address a range of social and digital issues.

The program included a variety of specialized workshops and topics covering cybersecurity and digital responsibility, initiative design, implementation planning, visual identity development, and impact and sustainability, providing participants with practical knowledge and skills in planning and developing initiatives in a professional manner.

The event also provided participants with opportunities to develop their creative thinking, problem-solving, leadership, effective communication, and teamwork skills. It further enhanced their awareness of safe and responsible practices in the digital environment and encouraged them to develop innovative, practical solutions to community challenges.

The “Youth Initiatives Challenge” created an engaging atmosphere characterized by enthusiasm and positive competition among the participating teams. Participants worked collaboratively to develop and prepare their initiatives and present their ideas before a judging panel, giving them the opportunity to showcase their creative and leadership abilities while benefiting from feedback and guidance to further develop their initiatives.
