Doha Girls Center Successfully Conducts Scented Candle-Making Workshop

Doha Girls Center recently hosted a Scented Candle-Making Workshop, providing girls with a unique opportunity to learn the fundamentals of candle-making in a safe and creative environment. Using simple materials and a variety of fragrances, participants were able to express their personal tastes while developing their manual skills and artistic sensibilities.

The workshop aimed to introduce participants to the basics of scented candle-making, encourage creativity through mixing colors and scents, and nurture craftsmanship. It also sought to inspire the girls to consider this skill as a potential foundation for future entrepreneurial projects.

During the session, the attendees learned about different types of candles, essential materials, and the step-by-step process of making scented candles—including melting, coloring, scenting, and shaping—while following safety guidelines. Each participant had the chance to create her own personalized scented candle and explore creative packaging ideas for gifts or products.
